Firefox vs. IE in O'Reilly Network Logs

I am a huge fan of Mozilla's Firefox browser. I have been evangelizing the benefits to anyone and everyone I know. Looks like it is definitely gaining share on Explorer. How cool are the features like tabbed browsing. It is nice to see that most websites are catching on and making sure they are compatible.

Musings by a girl who loves books

I've been inspired by blogs and books. I used to think blogs were primarily for political rants and naked photos of Paris Hilton and Tara Reid. I saw the light on how I could use a blog after reading Nick Hornby's The Polysyllabic Spree. The book is a collection of his monthly columns detailing "stuff he read" for an entire year. The brilliance is that it covers what he bought vs. what he read... I think many of us suffer from the same compulsion of buying, buying, buying books and only reading about a third of what we purchased. Hornby even admits that there are certain books he buys knowing full well that they are going directly into the bookcase with no intention of being read. I think books are cool so the more I own the better I feel about myself. Did I mention that I work in publishing... imagine that.
